Ultimately this event is a designed for awareness and community building - however Bristol Bay still needs our support! Thus, we are incorporating a silent auction, a raffle, and the option for recognized donations so that we can send our monetary support to the campaign against unethical mining. There are six months remaining in the planning process. We are looking to align the event with organizations and individuals in our community who would like to participate. Any little bit helps!
We currently have individuals assisting organizationally and monetarily. Companies are donating goods for the raffle, and for the event setup: we will have Alaskan wild salmon for the event, cooked by local chefs, spirit sponsors are providing libations, raffle donations have included $7000 retail items, and the list goes on.
